Not every tire fits on every car. Every manufacturer will have recommendations on tire size. This can be looked up online or we can also help you find that information.

• There are many tire manufacturers on the market and a wide variation in tire prices. 
• There are some manufacturers that appear less expensive but are not in the long run. When durability is factored in, we would recommend avoiding some brands. 
• There are also brands that are more expensive based on popularity and name recognition. Why pay for a name when you can get similar quality for less money?

Not every tire is correct for every lifestyle and environment. A tire that does better in off road conditions isn't ideal for someone who mainly drives on the highway. A tire that does better in snow is not going to be the smoothest for highway driving.

Snow tires have softer tread that will wear down more quickly on a highway. In Missouri, snow tires are less common due to our weather and a harder tread is generally recommended. If someone does a lot of traveling that takes them to areas with more snow, they should take that into consideration.

There are some tires that have run-flat technology (reinforced sidewall) that will allow you to travel short distances on a flat tire. This feature can come in handy in a pinch.

Every tire has a set tread life warranty based on mileage and years. For those that are able to spend more, there are tires that can last longer. 

It is important to note that warranties often require uniform wear. If a car is improperly aligned, the tires aren't rotated, or the tires are improperly inflated, it can void a warranty. This would be considered abnormal wear.
